Nightmares Fear Factory Photos
Why so scary?
I ran across these today and almost lost my shit. (It’s why I wear a diaper.) I’ve always liked fear rides. Roller coasters and haunted houses are always great fun. But my wife is obsessed with them. She’s the one in the roller coaster photos that has her arms outstretched with an expression of tranquility like she’s floating down a river when she’s plummeting through El Toro. She’s the one who runs up and hugs Leather Face at the end of the haunted house. While I enjoy them, I’m the white knuckled teeth clenching wailer on coasters and I squeal like a little girl when I go through a good haunted house.
Seeing these photos at Nightmare’s Fear Factory in Niagra Falls makes me feel a little better at being the 6′ 200 lb gorilla who suddenly converts into a tutu wearing blubbering scardy scardy sissy pants when the monsters grab my ankle at the haunted hay ride. I also have to say, these photos need to be blown up huge for a gallery show. These are shots that pro photographers spend hours and hours trying to capture just one time.
