Persist: the Fifth tenant of the Video Process

There isn’t true peace in Eden, for the haters will always hate, waiting right outside your gates.
The fifth tenant of the Video Circus conditioning is perhaps the most important. Creating a comforting, cocooning new reality is only half the battle. This is why PERSIST is the step listed halfway through the process. You may have shut out the mundane forces of banal normality, but those forces do not rest. Stepping off the treadmill will not go unnoticed. There will be great pressure by the social machine for you to re-assimilate into the bleak reality of the common world. One must persist forward with thick armor and heavy defense against the judgments of those who demand you fall in line. Build an impenetrable door to keep the squares at bay as the orgy rages inside. Fail to persist and find yourself being drug back to the grindstone.
